My friend, Glenn sent me this video. It gives me chills. Glenn is a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, I think I'll contact him about doing our own happy dancing/random public performance. Would you like to join us?
Don't you ever just wish life could be like those old musicals? I grew up watching Gene Kelly & Elvis. Breaking into song & dance mid-sentence feels like the best way to live your life. I think I'll try that today.
I think everyone should have their own special playlist on iTunes. Actually, I think you should have several!
I have my "Sandylicious playlist" of many favorite songs that gets me rockin when I need some energy.
I have a "Writing playlist" that I use when I need to crank out some writing deadlines.
I even have a "Massage Playlist" that I use when I get a massage, because I hate being taken out of that blissful feeling because some crazy music is playing in the background, right?!!
Here's one of my Sandylicious Playlists that I use when I speak at events- it's really fun!
Enjoy~ (then go make your own faaaabulous playlists & share)
What can I say.... I'm such a sucker for random public acts of joy.
My sister sent me this one. "Pass me a napkin please..... I'm crying happy tears" Can someone please invite ME next time you're planning a random public musical performance? Pass it on!
I'm *so* thankful that 2 of my friends sent me this video today.... I know you will love it.
Sit and breathe and take a moment to just BE. And know that I am so thankful you are part of my tribe. You are amazing, you are brilliant, you are magnificent!
Good Morning! Don't you just love Fridays? Even though I work from home and my schedule is pretty much whatever-whenever, there is something about Friday mornings that brings the magic of possibility each week. A relaxed, yet excited energy comes over me and I can't wait to get the weekend started.
It's like I have permission to goof off (which I do almost every day anyway), but on Friday's it's easier to get other people to goof off WITH me. Are YOU WITH me? Yes?
Here's a faaaabulous way for you to goof off today. You'll be *so* glad you did. I tricked my husband into watching this with me this morning (instead of his usual CNN / Morning Joe/ death, destruction, ugh, whatever....). It's was amazing.
So, grab someone you love (or forward this link to them) and watch this. Stay with it until the end- it's so beautiful. I am completely & totally in love with Benjamin Zander. Send me your thoughts after you watch it, okay?
